Welcome to the Leighton Buzzard Art Society

Leighton Buzzard Art Society is an active and friendly community group. Full membership is open to anyone aged 14* or over who is interested in art,  practising or not, amateur or professional. Guests are welcome at all meetings on payment of an entry fee .

Our activity is centred on our monthly meetings which often feature a demonstration or talk by a professional artist. We aim to cover all areas of interest and different media including oils, watercolour, acrylics, pencil, inks, printing, mixed media and many others.

Meetings take place at 7.45pm on the third Thursday of each month, from September to May.

  • Our annual exhibition is held at the end of October.  You’ll find details under Diary Dates/Exhibitions.

Click here for dates and details of meetings.

*(Aged 14 – 16 must be accompanied by an adult)

Meetings are  held at

The Dining Room,
Gilbert Inglefield Academy,
Vandyke Road
Leighton Buzzard

next to Vandyke Upper School. There is on-site parking. The demonstration is projected on a screen and a sound system ensures that everyone can hear. The room is spacious and comfortable, tea and coffee are served in the interval (50p).
